SCOPE OF POSITION:

Old West Cactus Farm is seeking an individual to work on the farm and in greenhouses.  This position requires a person that does well with intensive labor in hot/cold conditions. This person must have good problem solving skills along with a fast-paced work ethic. We also require any employee to be timely and consistent with their work day in and day out.. Another requirement is to be always willing to take the initiative on anything that needs to be done. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Watering cactus and succulents throughout the farm property following a schedule, stocking, weeding
• Assist with the day to day farm activities, as well as construction efforts
• Planting, moving/stocking plants, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, assisting with deliveries and installations

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Labor experience is desired, but not required
• Previous nursery experience desired, but not required
• Promptness, reliability, self-starter
• Team Player
• A positive "go getter" attitude
• A clean driving record for the past 5 years

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs of cactus, soil, and other nursery materials
• Must be able to work outdoors in a hot environment

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Old West Cactus Farm is seeking an individual to work on the farm and in greenhouses.  This person will work directly under the green house master, at their direction.  This position is a labor intensive position that requires a hard working, fast-paced person that is very meticulous, reliable, consistent, timely and focused everyday.  Must be able to work in all conditions hot or cold. SCOPE OF POSITION:

Old West Cactus Farm is seeking an individual interested in retail sales of cactus, succulent, pottery, glass, metal art, rocks, and other garden supplies. Part time positions could evolve into full-time employment!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Watering cactus and succulents in the retail sales area following a schedule, stocking, weeding
• Interacting with retail and wholesale customers and providing recommendations
• Writing up sales, operating credit card machines and cash drawers
• Cleaning and organizing retail areas, sanitizing frequently touched surfaces

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Math aptitude to write sales tickets and balance end-of-day reports
• Nursery, customer service, or sales experience desired
• Promptness, reliability, self-starter
• A clean driving record for the past 5 years 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs of cactus, soil, and other nursery materials for customers
• Must be able to work outdoors in a hot environment
